Happy Tea Truffle is an alcohol-free alternative that, when combined with Happy Tea Truffles, creates an enjoyable and energetic atmosphere at parties and outings. Ingredients
- Butterfly pea flower: This plant native to Asia is also known as Butterfly pea flower, Kittel flower or Clitoria ternatea. It is characterised by its vibrant blue colour. The plant is rich in anthocyanins, which are the antioxidants responsible for its unique colour. Butterfly pea flower is widely associated with several potential health benefits due to its medicinal properties.
- Siberian ginseng: Eleutherococcus senticosus, as this plant is scientifically known, has been used as an herbal tonic or adaptogen for centuries. Its main focus is on energy and fatigue.
- 5-HTP: 5-Hydroxytryptophan is extracted from the seed pods of the Griffonia simplicifolia plant and occurs naturally in our bodies as an amino acid. It is a precursor of the neurotransmitter Serotonin that we also know as the "happiness hormone".
- Rukeri White Tea (Africa): This very rare white tea is harvested In Rwanda, Africa. The plantations are located in beautiful, mountainous surroundings among lakes and protected areas. The combination of both sweet and spicy notes create a wonderfully round flavour profile.
- Hibiscus: for centuries, people have used hibiscus seeds, flowers, leaves and stems in food and traditional medicines. The plant is used to treat all kinds of ailments and remedy problems. Usage
Each pack contains one tea bag to make 1.5 litres of tea.
1. Use 4 grams of magic truffles off to make about 1 to 1.5 litres of tea.
2. Grind the truffles into fine pieces/mash.
3. Heat the water until it almost boils (avoid boiling as this can break down the active substances of the truffles).
4. Add the truffle pieces to the hot water.
5. Let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes.
6. Strain the tea to remove any remaining truffle pieces.
7. Add honey or lemon to taste if desired
Storage advice
Store the truffles in the fridge and the herbs in a cool dark place like a kitchen cupboard. Keep both products out of the reach of children.
