Catmint Indian Elements
SMARTSHOP -> Hallucinating herbs
Catmint, better known as catnip, owes this name to its stimulating and aphrodisiac effect on cats. In humans, this herb works somewhat differently. Catmint has a light psychedelic effect and has a very relaxing and euphoric effect. Many users compare the feeling of a Catmint tea with that of a cannabis high. Catmint is native to South and Central Asia. In and around the Middle Ages, this herb was called Catnip and was widely used as a spice in the kitchen or as an herbal medicine. The most active components of catnip is Nepetalactone, of which the component Nepeta is also found in Valerian. Catnip or Catmint is non-toxic and can also be combined with Damiana, Valerian and Galangal without any problems.
